The Laurelhurst Beach Club is a private membership club open to active members and invited guests.
Eligibility for Beach Club Membership shall be strictly limited to the following: Any person owning and residing on real property zoned as a “Single Family Residence” (SFR) as of January 1, 2013, and which real property is located within the boundaries set forth on the map attached hereto (collectively, the “Boundary”), which map is by this reference incorporated herein. Further, membership shall be limited to only one membership per tax parcel within the Boundary. Membership applications for any tax parcel within the Boundary that has been modified, altered or changed (including without limitation subdivided SFR lots, and approved changes to the existing parcel zoning designation) after January 1, 2013 (collectively, “Altered Parcels”), shall be separately reviewed by the Board, and approval of membership for such Altered Parcels within the Boundary shall be granted at the sole discretion of the Board.

Membership & Dues
Home-owning residents who reside within the beach club boundaries are eligible for membership in the Beach Club. The cost of membership is a $4,000.00 initiation fee (one time, nonrefundable) plus annual dues.
Annual Dues are $625.00 per year for households with 3 or more people, and $205 per year for households with 2 or less people.
The membership entitles all of the immediate family residing at your home address to all the privileges of the Beach Club. Your application together with a check in the amount of $4,625.00 ($4,205.00 for 2 or less household members) should be mailed to the Laurelhurst Beach Club, 4730 University Way NE, Ste-104 #2236, Seattle WA 98105. Please make your check payable to the Laurelhurst Beach Club.
Renters: If a rental house is located within the boundaries of Laurelhurst Beach Club as determined by the Board of Trustees, the renter shall be eligible to apply for a seasonal membership at the annual fee of $850. Rental membership carries no voting privileges.
Annual dues must be paid by June 1st each year.
Dues paid after June 1st will be assessed a late fee of $50.
Members who do not pay dues by June 30th, 2024 will be removed from our membership roster without further notice. If an inactive member wants to rejoin the beach club, all back dues would asked to be paid along with the current year’s dues, or the initiation fee and current year’s dues, whichever is the lesser amount.
Honorary Members
Members who live in the neighborhood and have paid dues to the beach club for 50 years or more are entitled to receive Honorary membership status. Honorary members no longer pay dues, but do receive all of the privileges of the beach club.
Please contact us if you would like to apply for Honorary membership. We do ask that you let us know each year if you would like this membership to continue.
